The WikiMaps browser extension pick out and compile places from text you see online, see them laid out on a map, as well as direct you to the Wikipedia pages of each one. This program is highly compatible with locations that are viewable on Google Maps. Download and install it from the Chrome store today to see how it works.
To use it, you should activate it first by clicking on the icon on the browser toolbar. Then, highlight names of places you come across online, right-click, then select the "Add to WikiMaps" option in the menu. You may also type in locations through the program's displayed map. And, if you want to remove a location, you may simply click the "x" button or choose to clear the entire selection.
